Track Rules

Since being established in 1970 Bayside Trailblazers Motorcycle Club has grown into an off road riding/racing facility for dirt bikes/atv's/side-by-sides and four wheeler.

The organization was formed to provide a venue for family oriented amateur racing and riding for all ages of off road motor sports.

This non profit club is owned and operated by its members and volunteers.

RULES AND CONDUCT

Our park consists of many moving parts. Literally, so it is of absolute necessity that our members not only adhere to the rules of conduct by enforce those same rules to other members. We are a motorsport facility. Safety us our number one priority.

1. To ride at the park you MUST be a Day Use member or Season Member. You must complete a registration form, Online Waiver and make payment. Fees schedule is included in this handbook and on our website www.btbrider.ca and on our Facebook page BTB Riders Club.

2. Every rider, member, spectator MUST fill out a WAIVER. No exceptions. A One-time General Seasonal Waiver can be completed online.

3. Most special events and races will require wristband.

4. Safety equipment MUST be worn to ride. Properly fastened helmets are mandatory for all riders. Proper footwear, goggles and gloves are highly suggested. You are at your own risk while riding at our facility, but we encourage you to wear the appropriate gear for the type of riding you are choosing to participate in. Each riding discipline has their own unique guidelines (i.e. ice racing requires mandatory guards: Flat Track requires mandatory tires and equipment) Please contact the Director of each riding discipline if you need further clarification.

5. Clean up your mess. We expect you to care for your pit area. Pick up your own garbage. We have the odd garbage can onsite, but garbage removal adds greatly to the cost of any facility. If you can take it with you, please do so.

6. Handling of gas, oil, and other fluids- do so with extreme care and caution. Safe handling, removal ad disposal is expected of every member. No dumping.

7. We expect all riders to ride with a buddy- whether you have somebody riding with you or keeping an eye on you from the sidelines. We do not provide flaggers for regular day riding. Flaggers will be brought in for race events only. This rude applies to all tracks.

8. If you plan on using our X-country trail, please notify the on-duty attendant. Once in the woods you will no longer be within visible range. Use X-country trail is done so at your own risk. Busy system is expected.

9. Camping is primitive. You are welcome to bring your trailer to pit overnight during sanctioned times. Remember- you share the park with other members. Respect noise and activity levels. We do have a port-a-potti onside. Please keep our track clean.

10.Glass is not permitted on the property. It will be permitted inside your camping trailer only.

11.Speeding and reckless behaviour on bikes or vehicles is absolutely NO PERMITED. Whether on or off the track, we will not tolerate reckless acts that put yourself or others in danger. We will also not permit anyone to enter our motocross, cross country or flat track on motorized equipment if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

12.Our entrance driveway is not a track. Please refrain from riding on the driveway with your off-road machinery.

13.While watering with equipment or maintenance is being done on track, all riders MUST get off the track.

14.If dust becomes an issue and is blowing towards the Shannonville Speedway, we may be required to temporarily shut down the tracks. We respect our neighbouring high-volume racetrack and want to keep the relationship healthy.

15.Dogs are permitted at our park- but they must be always leashed and under control. Dogs free to roam can cause injury or death on the race track. Failure to keep your dig contained will results in loss of privilege. Stoop and scoop is always in effect.
